Shiksha Ki Seedhi: The Empowerment Academy
Shiksha Ki Seedhi is the flagship educational initiative of the Rotaract Club of Delhi Genesis Midwest, structured as a comprehensive three-tier programme. Tier 1, the Weekend School, offers free classes every weekend to underprivileged children, covering core subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, and Environmental Science through creative activities and games. Tier 2, Kadam Shiksha Ki Aur, promotes sustainability and accessibility by collecting and distributing recycled stationery kits to ensure no child is left behind due to a lack of basic resources. Tier 3 is the Life Skill Development Programme, focusing on building communication skills, emotional intelligence, ethical values, and self-confidence among children. Recognised for its holistic approach to education, this project was nominated for the Outstanding Project Award under the Basic Education and Literacy Avenue at the Rotaract South East Asia Thanksgiving Ceremony.

Future Leaders Bootcamp
The Future Leaders Bootcamp is a leadership and personality development initiative designed to prepare young individuals to become confident and impactful changemakers. Through interactive workshops, hands-on training, and expert-led sessions, participants are introduced to essential skills such as public speaking, financial literacy, emotional intelligence, career development, and team management. The bootcamp empowers participants to step into leadership roles with confidence, fostering the growth of future Rotaractors and socially responsible citizens.

Empower U – Rise. Realise. Revolutionise.
Empower U is the club’s skill development programme, aimed at equipping youth with essential digital and creative skills. The initiative offers curated training in Microsoft Office, data analytics, graphic design, video editing, and overall digital literacy. Designed around the philosophy of “Rise. Realise. Revolutionise.,” Empower U helps individuals unlock their potential, realise their strengths, and use their skills to revolutionise their personal and professional journeys. The programme creates a learning ecosystem that nurtures confidence, innovation, and self-reliance.

Iktara: A Symphony of Awareness and Healing
Iktara: Healing Horizons was a powerful mental health conference hosted by the club to foster open dialogue, break societal stigmas, and offer actionable insights into mental well-being. The conference included impactful sessions by mental health professionals such as Dr. Deepika Kushwah, who explored the fundamentals of mental health and emotional resilience, and Dr. Vanshika Thukral, who led a discussion on mental health disorders and dismantling societal misconceptions. A panel discussion led by Kalpana Hans focused on managing stress in academic and professional settings. Alongside these sessions, the event featured Whispers of Hope, an affirmation exchange that encouraged community bonding and self-love; Whispers of Change, a showcase of community-written stories and reflections on mental health; and Unwind & Connect, a fun and interactive segment with live performances, jamming, and a Kahoot quiz. The conference was not just a dialogue, but an immersive experience that offered education, support, and healing.

Iktara – The Mental Health Chatbot
The Iktara Mental Health Chatbot is a digital initiative that aims to provide empathetic support and resources to individuals navigating mental health challenges. Designed as a safe and AI-powered space, the chatbot offers users basic emotional support, daily affirmations, mood tracking, self-care prompts, and access to verified helpline numbers. Its goal is to serve as a friendly, non-judgmental companion that can help users feel comfortable before they choose to speak to a human therapist or counselor. With trauma-informed conversational flows and an easy-to-use interface, Iktara represents the club’s commitment to innovation and mental well-being.
